Research, Collaboration, Excitement!

Originally published April 5, 2019

Recently, some of SASSA’s founding members and teachers with whom they have collaborated in the classroom had the opportunity to publish a chapter about their research and experiences. The chapter highlights the history of SASSA in the Classroom and how the program has succeeded in bringing together community members, teachers, researchers, and students. While we aim to offer students experiential, hands-on learning opportunities, the chance for K-12 teachers to publish was particularly exciting!
