SASSAk12’s New Look!

Image of how to navigate the SASSAk12 website.

Here are some quick tips for navigating our website, with the core navigation tools pointed out by the yellow arrows.

Congratulations! If you are reading this, then not only have you made it to the new SASSAk12 website, but you’ve taken some time to explore our webpage and made it to our SASSAk12 updates. Hopefully you are enjoying the new look as much as we do! We’ve maintained our classic bright and bold colors to reflect our excitement for our programs, our future, and our growing SASSAk12 community. All of our information is organized at the top of the page, and we’ve added something new - an opportunity to “Meet our Volunteers” with a whole page that highlights current and past volunteers who have been, and continue to be, vital to the success of SASSAk12.

We invite you to take some time to explore everything our website has to offer, and if you aren’t already, consider how you could fit into the SASSAk12 community! Check out what we’ve been up to since our conception in 2015, along with what we have to offer and the many ways that you can get involved! While our website will be the best source for information about SASSAk12, start following us on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram for more news from our events and community. And don’t forget to share what you think about our new look too!

This new website has been a major labor of love, while also providing an excellent opportunity to reflect on our past successes and build dreams for our future. We are incredibly proud of how SASSAk12 has grown since 2015, and of the many ways we adapted when life slowed down during the COVID pandemic. With our new website, we are eager to share our vision, goals, and the many opportunities we can provide more widely to further foster our growing community. We invite you to join us, whether as a volunteer, a community partner, a donor, or as an educator with a classroom full of students interested in hands-on, engaging activities that will add some flair to your curriculum. We are ready to work with you! So please contact us and spread the word about our organization!

Finally, a massive thank you to everyone who has been a part of SASSAk12 over the last 9 years - has it really been so long?! Whether as a student or educator who welcomed us into your classroom, or a volunteer who contributed your time and expertise, you are the core of what ensures our success. We cannot wait for you to join us in this next stage of our adventure.
